Processing of personal data

This is an English translation for your convenience. The version that applies is the Spanish one, Política de privacidad, under Colombian data protection law (Law 1581 of 2012).
Data controller
ivebeen3d is a 3D printing, jewelry and courses venture based in Bogotá, Colombia. It is responsible for processing the personal data collected on this site. For anything related to your data, write to hola@ivebeen3d.com or on Instagram @ivebeen3d.
What data we collect
English practice (CEO Protocol, La renovación). We collect nothing. The practice runs entirely inside your browser: your answers, drafts and notes are stored in your device's local storage and are not sent to any server. We do not ask for your name or email, and the case's own delete button erases that saved progress. The report and the export are generated and downloaded on your device.
Previous version of the case. The case that did ask for a name and email is still available by direct link, outside search engines. If you use it, we store the name and email you type, your answers and the scores of each act, to give you the diagnosis, send you the written verdict and follow up on your progress; also usage data from the case itself, such as how long you take and how many times you leave the tab, which are part of the assessment. We do not ask for a phone number, an ID or payment details.
Order, custom piece and claims forms. If you write through the order form, the custom pieces form, the CAD commission form or the requests, complaints and claims form in the terms of sale, we collect your email, your city, the message you write and the file you attach, if you do, solely to reply to you, quote the piece you ask for or handle your case. The message and the file reach the controller's email and are not stored in any external database.
Voluntary contact. If you write to us by email or Instagram, we process the data you choose to share in that message, solely to reply to you.
Anonymous technical data. We use traffic analytics (Vercel Analytics) that measures visits in aggregate, without tracking cookies or personal identification.
For what purpose
The test data is used only to generate your diagnosis, send you the written verdict together with the proposal for the next step of the method (Session 2), reply to you if you write to us, and improve the course; the order form data, only to reply to you and quote the piece you ask for; and the claims form data, only to handle your case. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.
Where it is stored and who processes it
The case results are stored in Notion, an information management platform, to which only the controller has access. Transmission always happens over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
Processors. To run the site we rely on providers that may process this data on our behalf and under their own policies: Notion (stores the English case results), Vercel (hosts the site and logs technical request data), Cloudflare (protects the forms with Turnstile, resolves the domain and delivers the notice of your sign-up or your order to the brand's email) and Google (receives that notice in the controller's inbox). Some of them are outside Colombia, so by accepting you also authorize that international transfer.
Anti-bot verification. The case form and the order form use Cloudflare Turnstile, which analyzes technical browser signals to tell people from automated programs. We do not use it to identify you or for advertising.
We keep your name, your email and your results only while they are useful for your diagnosis and follow-up, and delete them when they no longer are, unless there is a legal duty to keep them. You can also ask us to delete them by writing to hola@ivebeen3d.com.
Legal basis (your authorization)
The processing of your name, your email and your results relies on your authorization, which you give freely, in advance and informed, when you type your data and start the case, after the notice that links to this policy. It is optional: if you do not want us to store this data, do not take the test. The notice shown in the form, together with this policy, is the proof of your authorization, and you can revoke it at any time.
Your rights
Under Law 1581 of 2012 and its regulations, at any time you can access, update and correct your data, request proof of the authorization, be informed of how it is used, file complaints with the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce, revoke the authorization and request the deletion of your data when there is no legal duty to keep it.

TRAZOS (Chinese writing app)
The TRAZOS app runs inside your browser and stores your preferences and your license in your device's local storage; it does not need an account and your writing practice does not leave the device. When you activate a paid license, your key is sent to our server only to verify it, and payment is processed by Paddle as merchant of record (we do not receive your name, email or payment details). The details are in the TRAZOS privacy policy, terms and refund policy. It is an independent educational tool, not affiliated with HSK, Hanban or any official body.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will publish the new version on this same page with its effective date.
